  • We had a huge white pine in our backyard in close proximity the house. Rather than deal with cutting it back every year, we decided to take it down. I had a number of estimates done; in addition to having the best price, Steve also was quick to respond to my inquiry, which speaks to the customer service here. The job itself was an all day gig, but the guys did great work. Cut, shredded, and cleaned up well after. The only snag with me was that the stump (which could not be ground due to location) was still a few feet off the ground. I would have liked it to been taken down closer to the ground. However, I also didn't press the issue - if I did, I believe that they would have accommodated my request. I would surely recommend Flaherty to anyone.
