  • OMG! I had no idea that alcohol is served at this theater! I haven't been to this theater in almost a year but decided to come here to see Silver Lining Playbook, which by the way, is a wonderful film! I thought it was kinda odd that both my boyfriend and I got carded for a rated R movie. And I thought it was because he looks super young, but why card me? So we walk to the number 14 theater and there were two security guards there and one of them asked us if we were gonna purchase any beer or drinks? Ummm.... beer? Huh? We said no and proceeded inside. Right when I sat down, I turned to my boyfriend and I said "They serve beer here? Is that why we got carded". We decided why not, lets get something to drink. He went back out and gave his order to a waitress - a margarita for me and a beer for himself which came out to $19.20. Yeah, PRICEY!!! I should have known it would be expensive considering it is a movie theater. About ten minutes later, the waitress comes over with our drinks. My margarita was on the rocks and it had sooo much ice. I swear I took three sips from my straw and I was done. It was not worth $12.00. I admit I didn't specify whether I wanted it on the rocks or neat. I don't know if alcohol is only served during certain movies or after a certain time. We went to the 11:30 PM showing. It's good to know, though, that next time instead of sneaking in bottled water, I can sneak in beer... haha, I am just kidding, folks!
