  • We had heard great things about Parker & Sons, so when we were looking for a check-up on our two A/C units before the heat of summer hit, we gave them a call. The technician told us both units needed to be replaced, as one was original with the 1999-built house (we just purchased the home last year) and the other (about 7 yrs old) needed 3-4 lbs of refrigerant, was probably leaking, and had a rusting fan. Fearing the astronomical cost of replacing two units at once, we decided to make use of our home warranty to see what could be covered. The technician that came out told us that the newer unit was not leaking, and that it was only about 1/2 lb low on refrigerant and was working just fine. We were very disappointed in the dishonesty of the Parker & Sons technician, and we will not use nor recommend this company in the future.
