| - I love Joe's Farm Grill more and more with each visit. It's one of those places where I find everything I get delicious, and I am constantly craving.
They tend to be busy, but it's well worth the wait, I promise. There's a very relaxed atmosphere with seating inside and out. The outside seating is especially nice if you have kids (like my cousins) who enjoy running all over the place and doing what kids do best- adding a little extra excitement to any family outing.
When it comes to the food.. where do I begin.. burgers are slabs of thick patties grilled to juicy perfection on a toasted bun. Their Southwest Burger is my personal favorite. It has a nice little kick, but I added some of the hot sauce available at the drink/condiment station because I like my food to the point of unbearably spicy (it's a curse, really.)
Pizzas are the bomb. Crusts are thin, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and covered in a mound of sauce, cheese, and toppings. In my attempts to be healthy I get their vegetable one, and even my picky sisters will eat it because it's just that good. Only odd thing I'll mention is they sprinkle fresh basil on top, which causes me to get migraines from a strange allergy, so if you suffer from the same weird disease I have be sure to ask they omit the garnish.
I am dying for their grilled wedge salad as I write this. I've heard of wedge salads before, but this one is grilled and that makes all the difference. It's plain, simple, and divine. Be sure to squeeze the lemon over it for that extra tangy-ness to cut away from the richness of the dressing and bacon.
Thai Chicken Salad was on point. Only I didn't realize it was garnished with basil leaves until it was too late, and there was no way to successfully separate the basil leaves from the rest of my salad. I don't have that kind of patience. Once again, if you dislike fresh basil, ask for it's removal. It would've been perfect had I done that.
Last thing I'll write a review on is their Medjool Date Shake. Personally, it's one of my favorite shakes. I've never heard of such a thing until I went here, and I enjoyed it so much I now try to fashion my smoothies after it (once again, my healthy attempts). It's not so thick that I have to give my cheeks a workout just to get it up the straw, but not so think that I feel like I'm drinking milk. My dad is weird about textures and wasn't a fan of the pieces of dates in the shake, but I thought it made the shake better. Just personal preference.
They do free meals on your birthday if you show them your license or kids' birth certificate. Best deal ever,.
This concludes my raving of Joe's Farm Grill, for tonight at least.
