| - It's raining on this Sunday morning in Toronto. I'm in my nice and cozy room and am getting ready to head out for a last walk around center city Toronto. After that, it's back to Sarnia to finish up the last 2 weeks of my Canadian business trip.
With the help of the nearby Metro stop and my love of walking around, the Metropolitan is nicely located. The Theatre District, the St. Lawrence Market, the Hockey Hall of Fame, Queen Street, and even Canadian Tire are all within easy reach. And at $130, my room has been a very good value.
However, my room was located right off the elevator and right next to the ice machine. I was woken up on both nights a few times as groups were coming home and hanging out. In addition, the swimming/whirlpool area was closed for maintenance and the hotel wi-fi was inconsistent at times. On top of that, the folks down at the front desk were good at answering your questions, but didn't seem to be very engaged or efficient in moving check-ins/outs and inquires through.
I always love coming to Toronto and I hope to return soon. However when I do, I may stay somewhere else.
