rev:text	I have waited to write this review because I have heard great things about the other doctors in this practice. However l, Dr. Keith Brill, I would stay away from and never go back to him. I will start at the end of my appointment which ended with him slamming the door and telling me to go find another doctor while I was crying in pain in the room. I'm sorry but that right there is unprofessional. I could even hear the staff talking about it wondering what was said. My husband who was there with me and also retired military jaw dropped on how rude and dismissive this doctor was to us. I came to the office because I have an extensive medical background & was seen in the er and told to follow up with this practice. He walked in told me he read the medical report from the ER and said it's not a big deal. He said the radiologist who wrote the report are in a black Box and don't know the facts or what they are talking about when they write the reports. As he held his hands to his face like they have blinders on which to me Is just rude and uncalled for completely. He said the er staff were just doing a CYA. I was floored by these comments coming from his background. I'm sorry but the ER took the time to read my past medical history, the ER took the time to understand my history. The ER Southern Hills Medical Hospital who was fantastic & will be getting my time to write a note not just a review to their chair. Problem with this doctor is he was the exactly what he said the radiologist was a guy who read my report from the ER and made his decision before he walked into the room. A man with blinders. I tried to explain my history and was dismissed every time I tried to talk. I took time to print up my medical records to be reviewed to be just categorized. I was not evaluated or even listened to how severe my pain is on my right side. He didn't even lay a hand on me, ask me when my last pap was none of the basic questions. He didn't even listen that for the past 4 months I have thought it was my kidney & my doctors had scanned my kidney and thought I had an adrenal rare tumor based on labs. Didn't want to hear any of it when I tried to talk to him. He told me he only cared if it was 10cm cyst on my ovary and mine was small only 6cm. He didn't care it was complex not simple and he didn't care it had possibly been there now for 4 months. He never explained why he didn't care just that it wasn't 10cm the thought of a torsion is ridiculous to think. He Didn't even want to hear that in 2011 I had a cyst that was 2cm that my doctors watched for less than a month because . It ended up rupturing while I was at home. I went to the er because the pain got so bad and I was rushed into emergency surgery because I lost half my blood into my abdomen because I waited so long to go to the ER because my doctors were watching it. He Didn't care that my past doctors watch these like a hawk because I'm prone to bleeding and have a rare bleeding disorder call APS & autoimmune. My past on/gyns retired, why i was stuck finding someone new. Recently I had a lymph node removed because they thought it was cancerous but he didn't want to hear my history. I also have nodules in my lungs & thyroid. He Didn't even have a chance to let him know any of my history. He had no clue or time to pay attention to my medical history. I'm just very disappointed with this doctor and tell you read everyone's reviews on the doctors at the place. Make sure you see the right one. he claims he listens to the patient but he really doesn't have the time to be bothered. Dismissed me and left me crying in pain and told me to go somewhere else. It took a good 5 minutes to calm down before I could even walk out. He Didn't even have a nurse check on me or give me referrals. See anyone but him in the practice & remember if your cyst isn't 10cm he doesn't care not even with history of bleeding disorder. Now i have written reviews to get a hospital special awards and nurses for the daisy award. writing negativity is not something I enjoy doing unless its warranted. I find After negative reviews it will bring out people writing glorifying experiences & bring attention. I would rather keep my mouth shut. This time I don't have a problem writing because the staff was good just the doctor I saw today was horrible. I have also heard good things about other doctors. I will change my review if this doctor hasn't tried to sabotage the other doctors by putting me "dismissed" in the file as I have read happens in other reviews so we will see if they get a second chance. I think because I came in to see one of their more popular doctors he is jealous of people not requesting him. My thoughts only. I also belong to a PFAC committee (patient, family, advocacy) so for me to write a bad review of a medical professional means they did something beyond out of bounds. This doctor belongs to an ethics committee & military background. Wow it definitely doesn't show.
