| - The negative reviews unfortunately miss the point of the restaurant - you shouldn't go if you're not up for what they sell (you don't like what Wal-Mart does, you don't shop there, right?) What they do: small-portion, multi-course meals made up on the fly by the chef (hence, "improvisational cuisine"). You don't order your food; you indicate items you cannot or will not eat, and the kitchen chooses everything else for you. If you're definitely in the mood for a steak, this isn't the place for you. If you're not an absolutely adventurous eater, go elsewhere. If you have food allergies, expect a lesser experience. While the chef attempts to accommodate everyone, this restaurant isn't designed for everyone. We are always delighted when a chef offers to "just make something up" for us, and so a restaurant built on that concept thrills us. We've always loved the food, the service, and the concept, and we will return again and again. We love a long, relaxing meal (this doesn't pretend to be Chili's McDonalds) and this hits the spot.
