I have had a bad experience with pho in the past. I tried this place by recommendation of a friend who I know knows his Vietnamese food. We started off with egg rolls and then wet got the house fried rice. Both dishes were great and I loved the sauce they brought out with shredded carrots in it. *I'm not sure what it's called. Then the real test the pho came out. We ordered the large beef, this was a huge portion so I recommend the regular size since this soup is only good eaten fresh. The broth tasted good and the cut off beef wasn't too fatty like others I have had before. I have had pho a total of 3 times so far and this place is by far the best. I guess it's true, you need to go to the hood for good food
