  • My wife recently lost a small diamond out of her wedding ring. Our first feeling was of anxiety because we hadn't established ourselves with a local jeweler here in the Phoenix valley since moving here last year. After much research we decided to pay a visit to Oliver Smith Jewelers this past Friday without calling first or making an appointment. As we approached the front doors we were promptly buzzed in the locked doors by someone inside. There is a doorbell outside but it wasn't necessary to ring. Upon entry we immediately got a feeling of how luxurious this store is and the quality of their gemstones was immediately apparent. Almost immediately a gentleman helping another customer with watches indicated someone would be right with us to offer assistance. The assistance was immediate as Michelle found her way over to us to offer help. We pointed out our problem with the missing diamond from my wife's wedding ring to Michelle. Michelle was very professional and listened attentively to our desires and concerns, which she immediately addressed and satisfied. Michelle assured us that their jewelers were more than capable of handling the necessary repairs and departed for a minute to bring out one of the jewelers by the name of Steve. Steve immediately satiated any concerns we might have walked in to the store with. He was extremely professional, explaining every detail of the repair and making us (extremely savvy and cautions customers) very content. Steve initially indicated the repair would take a day. Although, as we were talking and completing the paperwork, my wife expressed her concerns of leaving the ring overnight, so Steve assured her he would have it completed for her the same day. He not only made the repair, replacing the missing stone, he repaired and tightened another ten stones that were at risk of coming dislodged. When we picked up the ring it looked amazing. Needless to say, Oliver Smith Jewelers hires exceptional people and then allows them the freedom to do an excellent job representing him. We are very satisfied and have already brought in other jewelry for repairs for Steve to handle. I'm looking forward to returning and perusing some of their beautiful new and pre-owned watches.
