| - If you are looking for an apartment in Chandler, please do not choose Autumn Creek Apartments. It may seem nice(ish), depending on your standards but don't be fooled. This place is a nightmare. Older construction and badly maintained property is this place in a nutshell, physically at least.
The staff is generally pleasant. Kathy is the best person to deal with. She's very friendly and helpful. God help you if you have to deal with Brittany. She's rude, condescending, and EXTREMELY passive aggressive. Only deal with her if you like to be stared down, scowled at, or treated like you're bothering her by asking her to do her job. She's not interested in doing her job, at least not in a pleasant manner. I have witnessed her on multiple occasions laying on her horn to anyone who is in the general vicinity of her vehicle multiple times.
If your apartment needs maintenance then you're pretty much out of luck. They have handymen that do general maintenance. I'm not sure where they found these people but they have no idea what they're doing. Once they came into my apartment, without notifying me, to fix something that was not broken, that I didn't report to them. The laundry facilities here are also woefully inadequate. Half of the washers don't work, or they work almost halfway through the cycle and then stop, locking your laundry in the machine.
Aside from these issues, there are little things that are obnoxious and a waste of time. They are not good at signing for packages that are received. If they do sign for a package then they might or might not lose it. It depends on who is working in the office that day. If something is sent to you and there is the slightest error on the shipping label, they will have it returned to the sender. Multiple times I've had something overnighted to me only to have them send it back with the carrier. I ended up getting the packages about 2-3 after I needed them.
Again, I would urge anyone looking at these apartments to think again.
