Here's my experience with this hotel. Booked through orbitz a month ahead of time and paid in full when I booked. Checked in and they wanted my credit card for incidentals. Ok no problem. Room was decent for the price. Bathroom could've been cleaner. Elevators were filthy with garbage on the floor. Spilled coffee on the floor in front of elevator. We were there from Sat-Mon and housekeeping never came by. We were gone all day so not sure why they couldn't find time to clean up and pick up trash. We had to go to front desk for more towels. Since we didn't get housekeeping we were out of coffee in the room. I went down to the buffet area, they were out of coffee too. It was 9:00 am! Waffle mix was empty as well so the kid was bummed.
The worst part was yet to come. When I checked out I got a receipt for $0 owed. We didn't use room service or anything. Not sure if they even offered it to be honest. Then I notice my credit card is billed again for the stay. I'm not talking about the pending hold they put on your card either. But No problem, I call them up and they say it was a mistake and it would be reversed. I look the following day, I didn't get a reversal, I was charged a third time! I call them back and they insist it isn't a charge. I called my credit card company twice and they confirm it is a charge. Plus my available credit on the card has decreased only validating they are charging me again. I call them back, they again insist it isn't a charge and don't believe me. Then give me some story of not being able to resolve the issue since I booked through orbitz( but they keep referring to as Expedia) and something about needing Expedia's credit card number. Sounds like nonsense and their attempt to pass the puck, but I call orbitz anyway. Orbitz confirmed they didn't charge me three times, only my original booking. They call the hotel and the hotel tells orbitz they reversed the charge, which again they haven't. As I stated, they charged me a third time. My only recourse was to call the credit card company and open a dispute. That in itself can take up to 10 business days. So here I am...waiting for my money. Worst experience ever. Never again.
