June was to be my very first experience with Orangutan taking over the service of my contract. This was the first time Orangutan was to service my system.
Their Technician, Gabe told my house/pet sitter when my dog growled at him, that if he didn't get that dog away from him, he'd stab it. This is the caliber of people who are employed by this company and who we as Consumers are entrusting to perform a valuable service and allowing into our homes. A very scary prospect that someone with a propensity for this type of violence visits homes with pets and children daily.
Each of the 4 Callers who checked up on my service call said they were horrorfied by my account and would have a supervisor call me immediately. Bill was the only Supervisor I had ever spoken with, but unfortunately due to what may have been a personal emergency was unavailable to follow up with me, but had another Rep call me to see if I would like a return visit since I did not trust the recommendations Gabe made about the potential for a needed repair. Who would trust anything this individual said?
There were numerous ways this company could have reached out to me and made my first impression a positive one, sadly no one seemed overly eager or interested, so I have to assume this isn't the first time this has happened and it's a usual and customary experience not worthy of their attention.
