  • This place has good food...period. But sometimes that doesn't cut it. I've been here twice for AYCE, and both times the sushi was fresh. My second time was tonight for my friends birthday dinner. We expected to get a few drinks with dinner as well as take some sake bombs, but when we got there we found out they can't serve alcohol because their liquor license is expired...what!? Never had this happen before..but I brushed it off because we were still can grub on some good food. At the end of dinner, my friend ordered Uni (Sea Urchin). When they brought it out we instantly noticed it was a dark brown color, it's supposed to be yellow!! She tasted it and couldn't even get it down. I was surprised they served it to us! She told the manager that it made her feel sick...he apologized but didn't offer us anything. Normally when this happens to me at other restaurants they give you one complementary item. Although I do like this place, I have to knock off two stars for the expired liquor license and the spoiled Uni!
