rev:text	My friend and I found this sushi restaurant while being stood-up by Meet-up friends at Cobra Arcade (review of that to follow). We walked across the street from Cobra and decided to eat at Moira Sushi. The place is plotted on the skinny side of a building and has small to moderate seating available. You could not take large parties here, but it was perfect for the two of us wanting to sit at the counter. The only downside to Moira is the service. They are extremely helpful and courteous, but took us about 10 minutes to get a menu... another 5 to get water. The food is what holds the rating up!! We gave our sushi slip to the chefs and immediately, food starting coming out. I think it might be better to ask what order we would like the food out. We received the appetizers AFTER our food. I like that balance where the appetizers come, and you have enough time to eat prior to the main course. Needless to say, everything pretty much came to us at once and our area was CROWDED. Again, service is not that great, and empty plates just sat there. They were still there when we left. The over-abundance of plates were an issue since my friend and I wanted to sample pretty much everything. Having to stack up our own plates is not a good experience. The food: The food is extraordinary. Spicy tuna was rolled nicely with the rice not being too overbearing. The Spicy Lobster was not our jam today, but it was worth a shot, not the chef's fault. The Hamichi Toro... OMG, simply fantastic. The Blue Fin Tuna was so great, we had to order another so we wouldn't fight over the last piece. The calamari looked and tasted amazing and the Spicy Garlic edamame went really quickly. Overall, this place is dynamite. With a more attentive waitstaff, this place would be the rage. We were there at 7:00 and stayed there till 8:30-ish, and MAYBE there were two other couples in the restaurant. I would imagine that with a attentive wait staff, this place should be crawling!!! I made the trek from Ahwatukee and will continue doing so because of the food, and I implore everyone to try Moira for their sensational sushi... just don't expect service to be quick.
