| - I am a huge OTF fan - their workouts are efficient, and effective, and if you find the right studio, and coach, is a great alternative to personal training, at a much cheaper price. HOWEVER, this studio is a nightmare. I signed up for a membership before trying out a class first (big mistake), as I used to be an OTF employee and member, and assumed that the quality of workout would be the same, as templates are set nationwide. My first class at this studio was with a coach who clearly did not know the difference between Base, Push, and All Out pace, as she kept defining them incorrectly mid workout (causing me to consistently have to readjust my speeds as she would correct herself later). I eventually became so frustrated that I left class early and filled out a comment card to inform the studio of my bad experience. The studio later reached out to me for feedback regarding my first class, and I gave them a poor review, with my explanation of what happened. Based on corporate protocol, this should have elicited a call from their manager asking about my poor review, in attempt to remedy the situation, but no such call was ever received. A month later I cancelled my membership due to dissatisfaction with the facility; however, despite the written confirmation received regarding my cancellation, as well as confirmation of my final EFT date, I was charged the following 2 months, and have yet to receive a refund for the charges despite my multiple phone calls to the studio, and even a conversation with the manager. I have spoken with management at another nearby OTF location, and have been informed that this situation is not uncommon when it comes to this particular studio. I am hoping that such a review will finally produce a response from studio management, but also want to warn other potential customers to be wary.
