  • La Grande Orange Grocery, not to be confused with La Grande Orange Pizzeria, is a cool little shop that has always had its fair share of fans over the years. Admittedly, most times I'm here because I'm waiting for a table at the nearby pizzeria and just browsing to kill time. The shop features lots of knick knacks, books, soaps, and candles. They all remind me of things that I'd buy for someone that I don't really know very well. Some items are overpriced, but that's to be expected. Their bakery offers up some very good sweets, including their sea salt chocolate chip cookie. My girlfriend threatens violence upon me if we don't order it during our dinner visits. Their gelato, which is technically a separate company-owned brand (with their own separate Yelp account), is also pretty decent from the few times I've sampled it. We did breakfast here once and while I didn't really like the "order at the counter" setup, the food was up to the quality that you'd expect from LGO - including the coffee. Recommended!
