WOW, this place is out of the way. Never in life would I choose to meet someone here just for a coffee. I participated in a book reading, which is why I traveled. I do like that the Caffe showcases a variety of local talent and appreciated the opportunity. Check out the events calendar. There is additional private space for use.
I quite like the room they allow between tables. I hate crowded cafes where you feel people beside you breathing down your neck and listening to your conversation. I also like that you can sit up at the coffee bar. The staff was very friendly. The Caffe was clean and bright.
The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the fact that some sort of music practice was going on next door and you could hear terrible violin playing through the wall. It was very distracting and it took away from the ambiance. Thankfully the noise was somewhat short-lived.
I cannot comment on food or beverages because it was mid to late evening, so I just had water. I don't think I've ever used such will power, but I certainly plan on ordering something should I go back. The snack cabinet displayed some delicious looking goods. Prices seem average.
