  • Went to see this place end of June for late July move in. We wanted a 1 or 2 bedroom on the ground floor. They said they had one available immediately and another available the second or third week of July, for sure. We went home and applied within the hour. We heard back from every other place we applied but hadn't heard from them. Due to their proximity to our job, they were our first choice, so we called, and called. Then my boyfriend went down there and was told that we qualified but they didn't have a place available currently...but they might by week's end. Never heard back. Obviously we had to take one of the other places but this interaction has bothered me ever since. How many people have paid their $45/person app fee for apartments they didn't even have available? I requested our app fees back. They told me they couldn't find our apps (but they had known my boyfriend's name after I told them mine) and would get back to me by end of week. It has been two weeks, no word. They just take your money and blow you off.
