  • I can't wait until my contract is up! My husband and I bought the EVOs, which are 4G. Well big deal since Sprint still does not have 4G service in Phoenix. We have been paying $10 per month per phone since July of 2010 for a service we do not receive. That's a waste of $480 that we must pay or have service disconnected. We moved a few blocks in January of 2011 and have almost no service at our new home. We are in central Phoenix, but just happen to be in a "dead zone." Sprint cannot figure out why this is but we've met neighbors with the same problem, so it's not just us. Sprint will not let us out of our contract. After opening ticket after ticket and speaking with numerous technicians, absolutely nothing was accomplished. Time after time technicians and customer service reps would escalate our service requests and promise to call back but they never did. We spent hours on hold just to have the calls dropped. One technician suggested a signal booster which would be free for us. It didn't work at all, only disrupted our cable Internet service. We then received a disconnection notice if we didn't pay $140 for the booster. Now the booster is on it's way back to sprint but they are still threatening to disconnect because the departments can't seem to communicate with each other. I've been on the phone with them all morning but my phone keeps dropping their calls before I can resolve anything. It looks like I'm just going to pay the fees to get out of contract. You win Sprint, I'm waving the white flag.
