| - Let me start by stating that I had no intention of posting this review. I voiced my displeasure to the technician as well as to the person that called me. When they sent the bill, I was "encouraged" to post on Yelp.
Don't have to ask me twice.
Small drip in shower led to a 6" X 6" spot on my ceiling below. Titan was called. I explained the entire situation (it's a quite complicated one..).
I asked they if they could take care of the situation, "soup to nuts". Absolutely I was told. We will have someone out today. Nice guy came out, used his thermal detector, and showed me that there was absolutely no moisture except for the spot on the ceiling. I said "great, let's get this thing fixed." I even mentioned the soup to nuts thing again and how happy I was that it was caught early. He agreed. He then proceeded to cut 12" X 12" hole in the ceiling so he could put a fan on it and let it dry overnight. Said he, or someone would be out tomorrow to finish the job.
Silly me, I assumed this meant that person would fix the leak, repair the ceiling, go on their way. Everyone is happy!
Nope. Next day, two guys show up. I'm still impressed at this point.
"We're here to patch the ceiling".
Confused, I asked about the leak. "Oh, you need to call a plumber for that".
I asked one of the guys, "why would I pay you to repair the ceiling, then call a plumber to come out and cut the same hole"?
He looked confused, then agreed with me.
I felt like I was in that commercial. "We just let you know you have a leak, we don't do anything about it"
They left, I was billed $267.92
I was schooled. Lesson learned.
Update:
3 weeks since their response posted here and on Facebook. My check was cashed the day I wrote the original review, absolutely no other contact/resolution. Swept under the rug like it never happened. (Except for the $280 hole in my ceiling)
