A great barbershop has 2 strict requirements: the ability to throw down a tight taper fade with a hard part, and a barber who can make you think. Today was my first time at this shop, and Lou was the man with the scissors. I truly believe he gave me one of the best cuts I have had in my life. The guy is a clipper wielding hair artist and a deep-thinking philosopher combined. Great cut and great conversation. If you want to smell like Aveda, or long for a foo foo salon experience, look elsewhere. If you want the kind of old-school, meticulous barbershop visit that would make your grandad proud, grab a number and wait for Lou.
