I feel that Chapman Chevrolet tricked me and my parents in the settlement of my trade in. My dad works for GM, so he had a discount that applied to the purchase of the vehicle. My dad thought the discount or rebate was $2500. My dad later checked, and his discount should have been $3500. The salesman led us to believe that I was getting $2500 for the trade in value of my truck, when really he was only giving us $1500 and he just applied the rest of my dads discount , leading us to believe he was giving us more for the truck. This is the reason no one likes to deal with car sales men, because they are shady, and they don't tell the truth about what they're giving you. I wish I would have waited the extra day for the guy I was originally working with to transfer the vehicle to his location. That guy was way more friendly, and the manager was much more upfront with us about the value of the car. I just wish I would have been more patient.
