| - My girlfriend wanted to get some tattoos and chose this place so we went. We waited for about half an hour while the only tattoo artist there was finishing up with a client, which was no problem, as he stated he was still working on someone else over the phone.
While we waited, he offered us a bottle of water and some suckers, which we both took and enjoyed. I was relaxing on a couch with my feet on a tiny, empty table, (which I apologized for later) and had the urgent need to go to the bathroom. Very few people know that I have an auto immune disease called ulcerative colitis which is a condition where the colon is always inflamed and causes urgent needs to use the restroom. I'm saying this now, because it's it's relevant to my experience here.
When I came out of the bathroom, the artist told me that this place was a "family friendly place" and he was getting really bad vibes from me and was sketched out. I asked why and he pointed out the feet on the table, my sucker wrapper I had not thrown away yet and that I was in the bathroom for a long time. I was confused as to why this bothered him so much, and apologized if I was being disrespectful and told him about my condition and what it does to me, to which he didn't respond. My girlfriend got up and left so I followed her and we headed home. She told me that when I was in the bathroom, he literally thought I was DOING DRUGS because it was taking me "longer than usual" which is why he was getting sketched out.
The entire time I was in the bathroom, he was reprimanding her for his perception of me. If my feet on the table was bothering him, he could have asked me to take them off. Not a problem, I'm not trying to disrespect anyone. He full on accused me of doing drugs and thought I was this terrible person. I don't do drugs, I barely drink I'm a professional cirque artist and I live a very active, healthy lifestyle. It's incredibly unfortunate and bothersome he judged me on what I can only guess is my appearance( I'm bald for my job and I wear black because I like it)
We will definitely not do business here or recommend it to anyone.
Every experience is subjective, others may not feel this way, but for us, the experience was surreal and terrible
