I've never seen such a diverse demographic cross-section of North Carolinians all in one place - and i presume its because everyone loves good cajun food.
We stumbled upon this place while exploring Charlotte, and were very pleased with the food. I had the muffalatta which was a good approximation of the new orleans sandwich. Hubby had the crawfish & shrimp etoufee - also pretty darn good.
The service was a little less satisfactory - the staff was running around aimless on many occasions. Our table was cleared at the end of lunch, and we tried to flag down our waitress for the next 10 minutes to pay the bill, and finally had to stick an arm in front of her to get her to quit ignoring us. Busy, i understand - snotty attitude doesn't need to accompany that, especially at the point where we are about to decide what your tip is.
