| - Be careful when you book your airline tickets. What seemed to be a "cheap flight" and a good deal at first, turned into a nightmare!
There was a problem with the online form, so customer service was contacted to fix the information on the ticket. The airline had been called first (Air Canada), but they said the booking agent had to fix it. The customer service agent for Flightnetwork said she'd do it right away...but we didn't get a confirmation email, so we had to call in numerous times. I think we called them 5 times in the span of a few days, with each customer service person saying that they'd get to it, and to wait for the confirmation email...
Finally, after someone at the customer service center responded, it was too late to fix the correction on the ticket without being penalized by Air Canada. Of course, Flightnetwork refused to take the blame for it, and claimed that we would have to cancel the old tickets and get new ones...all the while collecting more service fees for their "help".
I know, I know...BUYER BEWARE...
But next time, I won't be fooled by the cheaper prices. For a few dollars more, I'll book directly with the airline and save myself the hassle.
Oh, and I've discovered Google Flights, so there is no need for FN any more!
