I really had confidence in this law group and it appeared as though they knew what they were doing in assisting me with my case. I am not one to make conflict about something because it can be uncomfortable but it's been almost 2 years and I've asked about the motion to file for attorney fees at least 3 times, with no answer in sight. It's like they just see my email and delete it. Who knows? As another issue has come up, I sought them again for representation and was told it would not be appropriate to file for something which I thought was quite unusual seeing how there were specific statutes for my very issue. I contacted two other lawyers who advised me otherwise on my issues and set me on a forward direction. One of them said that maybe after you paid them $20k, they thought my little issue wouldn't amount to much income for them. Yep, I paid over $20k for a decree that fails to mention half the things an ordinary joint custody decree would usually have--just finding this out now. Anyways, other representation has said that Kari Hanratty, herself, wouldn't have let this happen, but I didn't have Kari Hanratty. Maybe next time.
Edited to 4 stars: Very unexpected to get a call today from Kari Hanratty, herself. She went over my case and the issue I had and wants to work with me towards amending the decree. You can't ask for better customer service even when some things don't always turn out the way you hope for.
