  • This is a very business people focused hotel, which was fine by me since I went to Charlotte on a business trip! The location isn't bad, it's right next to the NASCAR hall of fame and it's about a 10-15 min walk to where the office I was working out of. It's a little away from the skyscrapers so I appreciated the quiet area. The room was nice and basic. The bed was comfy though and the bathroom was spacious. There's free breakfast in the morning which was tasty. There were eggs, potatoes, sausage, cereal, breads and yogurt, it was more than your continental breakfast. They also had convenient "to go" bags in the morning which had a granola bar and I think an apple. I never got one, since I liked to take advantage of the breakfast. They also give out free bottled water! Score! Great place for a business trip and location isn't too bad, it's not right next to the restaurants, but the walk isn't bad. Staff are friendly and I did like the USA Today outside my door every morning!
