| - We've stayed here several times over the years, usually in one of their suites, and always for the Dam Short Film Festival held annually the 2nd weekend of February.
The suites are nicely decorated with small kitchenettes including a fridge, microwave and sink. The hotel is charming, historical, with an attentive staff. A substantial breakfast is included in The Restaurant with many choices for hotel guests - no weird plastic bins of fruit loops here! The Restaurant is a friendly, bright, pleasant place to start your day as a guest, visitor, or local.
The hotel is a gem of the city. It houses the small, but well-curated Boulder Dam Museum. Art fans will enjoy shopping at the Boulder City Art Guild or the Dam Little Gallery (also home to the DSFF). The lobby is cozy and airy with lots of comfy furniture - a nice place to wait for friends, or take a little rest between the sights.
