I have been to this place more than once and each time I am happy with both the service and the quality of the food.
I have been to many churrascaria and though I can't say that this is anywhere near the level of Fogo de Chao in Miami it is definitely good if you are in the mood for meat!
The husband and I were exhausted from all of the unpacking and both wanted meat! We knew that meant a trip to Green Forest.
The salad bar has a decent selection and the hot foods even had a risotto of sorts with mushrooms that was good enough for me to go back for seconds.
The meats are delicious and they will bring you out the doneness that you prefer in my case rare to medium rare. I tend to stick to the beef and the lamb, I tend to find the poultry overcooked and I don't eat anything that has been covered in Parmesan cheese (personal preference).
This time I also ordered a passion fruit caiprinha which was out of this world delicious. These are too easy to drink and I made sure I only ordered the one.
Randomly the staff sang us happy birthday, because the waitress thought she overheard us talking about our birthday (we were talking about the wedding), but it was hilarious because the two of us didn't know what was going on!
Overall the service was great the food and drinks were top notch and we will return when in the mood for a meat orgy. The price is not low but it is reasonable for the quality and quantity of food!
