| - My expectations were low because of all the reports of this place, but I gave it a go anyway. I stumbled upon a salesman called Jay, who quite frankly, couldn't give a damn about customers and their questions, unless your mooning over things and he's sure your gonna buy. I spent seconds with this rude and aloof guy and I headed for the door.
I left thinking, wow, all the yelpers were right.
But....
My wife wanted to go look in there at another bike a couple of days later, I thought I'd chance it again. This time I emailed the dealership before I went hoping to actually get a member of staff who was interested in their job and their customers, I got a response from a different salesman called Blaire Cabelguen. I'm so pleased I tried again and even happier that I found a nice guy, who was interested in our wants and needs, not only his. He was very patient with my wife and I, he answered everything we threw at him nicely. Thankfully it transformed my experience at Blackfoot.
We bought 2 brand new bikes from Blaire Cabelguen as he had listened and acted upon our questions and requests, he then introduced me to a young woman in the clothing dept. Thankfully again, she was fantastic, so very patient and helpful, spent so much time running up and down the stairs getting us stuff to try on, which for a young woman with impending motherhood was quite an ask.
The young woman who deals with taking my money was also friendly, chatty and thorough in her job. Again, a pleasant experience.
One of the bikes was a day late for pick up, as they'd been busy and had a bunch of staff off work ill, but its only one day and that's not the end of the world. The bikes were just what we wanted and I'm happy to report, my experience was a positive one.
I'll update more as I have had chance to deal with service.
A year in, still happy with my dealings with this dealership.
