  • We came here work and needed 6 rooms. First of all we thought we'd booked king business rooms, when we checked in they were double bed rooms. The room was claustrophobic, the beds were terrible - old, lumpy and soft. The sheets were really scratchy and a few of the pillows had stains on them. There were even stains on the curtains! I asked to be moved to a king room. They gave me a key to check if the king room was ok. It was much better, bigger, better bed. I came back downstairs to confirm that room and was told I'm sorry I now can't give you that room, and we have no other king rooms available. WTF!! So switched again to another room, a tiny bit bigger (I mean a total of 4 extra inches in the bathroom and 4 extra inches in the bedroom!) and to top it all off there are fruit flies or something in all the rooms. Breakfast was another issue, there wasn't much in terms of hot food, which is what they advertise. One morning a tray of bacon fell on the floor and the attendant sort of just looked at it. One of my coworkers was in a room on the 2nd floor and someone tried to get into her room from the adjoining room. There was clearly some shady things going on, on the lower floors. We asked to move her to another room and at first they refused, saying its fine nothing can happen. No actually it's not fine! Finally when we insisted they moved her to the 4th floor with us. After all these issues their idea of offering us something was to give us 50% off one room for one night, remember we have 6 rooms. What a joke. We were meant to stay here all week but checked into a much better hotel after 3 nights. The only positive thing I have to say about this hotel is that at least on the 4th floor it was quiet, I couldn't hear any noise from the room next to mine. Save your money and your sanity, do not stay here, unless you are desperate and just need to sleep. I will never stay here again! And in my opinion their franchise name should be taken away. I've never been to a worse Days Inn hotel anywhere.
