My stepfather is a Dr. and also a patient here. He referred me as Dr. Tahoma has really helped him with his issues. I have vertigo and experience neck pain so I wanted to set up a consult. I had to reschedule my appointment 3x due to work. The first time it was a non-issue, the second time I gave my debit card to pay the fee for rescheduling outside the 24 hour notice. The third time, I gave more than 24 hour notice via voicemail. I left 4 more voicemails over the course of several weeks to get the consult back on the books and finally called again today to hear from Leslie that apparently I was emailed several weeks ago to inform me my care would be turned down due to fear from Dr. Tahoma that I would continue to reschedule. She doesn't have my email address as I haven't even established care yet. And I got ZERO calls back to tell me this via phone. I completely understand the rising frustration from Dr's when patients reschedule, but the fact is that life happens and when you're willing to pay the rescheduling fee.....what's the real problem? Of all the years my stepdad was a Dr. - he never once turned down a patient in this way. It is very upsetting to say the least. If I was doing something to get "fired" I would be more likely to understand, but this doc has never even met me yet and I was willing to pay the fee for the reschedule. Have to give this experience a one-star. I mean, at least have the kindness to call me and let me know via phone instead of playing the avoidance game. I called and called and called with no response - its like this place just ghosted me before even knowing who I am.
