I wouldn't begin writing this review if they (manager) listen to my concern at first place.
It seemed like they don't care or who's cares of what really happen to you.
After I received my key and start open up my door, I noticed a very bad odor like death animal in the room. I immediately walk back to the front office with out bring my stuff into the room and hope they will get me a better room with my concern.
When I get to the front desk and explain to what I noticed and request for room change. The manager said no more rooms available. But for a moment I heard another employee answering a phone from some one call to check for a room available and they said $189 a night. My gosh, NO ROOM AVAILABLE. when I heard they still have room for $189.
I was so mad to know they don't want to solve the problem and it really upset me. I asked them what they can do and they said they will send someone down to spray to keep the odor away. Problem solve for them but my problem about to begin.
I walk back to my room at sat right in front of the parking lot with out moving my stuffs in. I was thinking of just drop this hotel and get another one down the road to get it over with. But my credit card was paid for $140 already. While thinking of my next step, I saw a worker from the hotel came to my room with a bottle of fragrant and try to help clear up the smell. I explain to the worker and try to make him understand of why I paid to live in this bad environment. I know he noticed something but wouldn't tell me and he walk to the front office try to help me out. For less than five minutes, he came back to the parking lot where I was standing and gave me a bad result. No Change, he said.
Oh well, The night was short and I need to get up early at 6am that morning for duty. I hesitate to get my stuffs in the room and go take shower right a way. I was almost throw up with the bathroom. It really bad like some one just used the restroom with out flushing the toilet. It was terrible and no choice of change.
The night fall shorter, I begin to my sleep. The air condition in my room was sounds like running a diesel truck running all night. I couldn't sleep with with that sound so I went to turn it off to save my last few hours of sleep. The temperature of Las Vegas in that evening was around 89 degree and was kind of hot for my night. I took the choice of having a hot room with out air condition but quiet to get better sleep. When I about to lay down, noise from people living up stair start to rattle. No way. I asked why did I booked this place. How come I didn't read people's review when I book this.
My sleepless night in Vegas came true and left at 6:30 that morning.
My concern for Travelodge and management. Train your people that run the hotel at that location (Koval Ln.) He (manager) was rude, not helping and please don't treat customers like homeless. We all educated with respect for all human being.
For the room I booked: equipment was out of date, bathroom was dirty and smelly. Room was very small and noise from all over the place.
I warn people please do research and find better hotel down the Koval Lane for better service and amnesty. Hotel 8 got better room and near restaurants with clean room and happy service.
