| - We have 3 kids ages 6, 3, and 10 months. When I say our life revolves around kids' activities you know I'm not exaggerating. If I said 'we've done it all' then I would be exaggerating. But we've done a lot of activities in the valley for kids.
Tennis Star Academy for, our family, is a stand out. They are in a league of their own. It's starts with the owner, Wensey McComb, aka Coach Awesomeness. Everyone gets a nickname at Tennis Star Academy. It's always a positive reinforcement of their identity. That's what I mean when I say this place is special. It's details like these that they create to not only teach tennis but also instill confidence, self respect, and identity in the students. In 3 years of participating we've never encountered a bad coach. They have all been a reflection of the owner - engaging, polite, and aware - sometimes kids have a tough time transitioning, they make it easy.
Let's talk about the program. Once in the parent's booth I remember a mom describing it as children's cross fit. I would agree. It's high energy. Focused. Fun.
Another special thing they do is camp. Summer camp. Winter camp. Camp for one week when there is no school. These are fantastic. It gives our kids a place to go and stay off devices. And the price is always right.
The last thing I'll comment on is the birthday parties. I'm not sure they advertise these or not. But we've been to a few. They prepare everything, take the kids in, and parents sit back.
