  • I have not been to a DAVIDsTEA location as there are none near me, but I ordered online last week and it made its way from Montréal to Ohio rather quickly (only a few days). I am a loose leaf tea drinker and I was looking for some exciting flavored black tea at a more reasonable price than Teavana or Tea Forté. I ordered the Cream of Earl Grey and Buttered Rum black teas to start. The Cream of Earl Grey was exactly what I expected...classic bergamot oil with black tea, softened up a bit with some vanilla...and delicious. The Buttered Rum flavor absolutely blew my mind. It's black tea with coconut shavings, vanilla bean pieces and very fragrant butterscotch. It is SO good. Both teas had beautiful, high quality leaves...they come in sturdy, re-sealable pouches (though if you order a certain amount of any one tea...I think 3.52 ounces, you get a free tin). They also sent three free samples with my order, which are of a fairly large size for a sample. I will definitely be ordering from them from here on out and I cannot wait to try more of their teas! They also have a large variety of herbal, green, white, oolong, rooibos, pu'erh and maté if that's more your style.
