I signed up for the online version of the PRE-LICENSING training course.
The Online course modules were easy to follow with a practice test after each chapter. You can take them as many times as you like. (There were lots of spelling errors on the modules though and many of the slides were such poor quality that they were hard to read even on my large monitor.)
When I completed the course I received an auto-generated email asking me if I scheduled my final exam. I thought THE test I was studying for was the PSI. The email was very unclear and gave no further instructions only to call my coordinator. I called her two different times with no response.
I went to PSI and took the test. I PASSED THE NATIONAL AND STATE PSI ON THE FIRST TRY!! 90% Woohoo!
I went to the division office to submit my paperwork. They asked for my certificate from the school to verify that the 90 hours of education were completed. I didn't have a certificate so I went to the school to get it.
The school said I had to take THEIR test first. (even though I already passed the PSI which I thought was the goal!!) The materials prepared me enough to pass the PSI but not their own school test. MANY questions on THEIR test WERE NOT TAUGHT in the online modules. Very disappointing. I had to go buy other NV State study guides to pass the school state test.
The guy at the front desk at the school was very unprofessional and rude each of the three times I had to go there.
I do not recommend the pre-licensing online course from this school. Terrible experience, bad communication, and unprofessional. Perhaps the classroom version is better?
