  • The best advice you'll ever receive: Avoid this place at all costs. I came here for an ashy blonde balayage and showed a couple pictures of what I specifically wanted. I told the lady that I had not coloured my hair before and she said that it was fine. I would have appreciated if at the start of the appointment, she had told me that the colour I wanted would not be achievable. During the process, she kept saying how great it'll look and how it'll match the colour of the picture I showed her. When she rinsed, it came out copper/orange and was NOT what I asked for or wanted at all. I was not happy and I kept insisting that it wasn't what I wanted and after a while, she finally agreed to do another process to get it closer to what I asked for. The owner who is also the front-desk lady said that another process would be $30 more. I was not happy about that but I wasn't about to walk out of there with nasty copper hair and horrible ombre. Other salons I know will not charge additional for mistakes that they made. In the end, she added another $40 to my quoted fee, which is more than what she told me. It was only $10 more which is fine, but it's the principle behind trying to rip me off with charging more than what she had said. The final colour after 2 processes was still not close to what I wanted. At that point, 4 hours had already passed and I was over it, so I just wanted to be done with it. I got my hair cut and styled after the processing. The cut was good, but the styling was not that good. I asked for big thick curls and it was like she didn't know what she was doing. I was so tempted to grab the iron out of her hands and do it myself. Overall, this salon is scummy, unprofessional, will overcharge you, and will add more fees to the quote they give you. They won't advise you beforehand if they can't do what you ask for. They clearly do not care about their customers at all and are money hungry. They'll start working on your hair first so that you already owe them money. It ended up costing me $250 which is way too expensive for something so horrible. If I had known it would turn out like this and would cost this much, I would've went to the salon that my friend recommended to me for less than $300 (I'd rather pay more for something I know I'd love and would not be charged more than the quoted price). To add injury to insult, about two weeks after, the salon posted a photo on their Instagram and they filtered it so much that the colour did NOT look like what the actual results were!
