  • Yes, it's finally here! Saint Anthony of Padua has a permanent home on Fort Apache and Centennial Parkway. The church took about a decade to built from its previous temporary location at Centennial High School's theatre. It is nestled around residential area with gorgeous background of the northwest beauty. I've been a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua since 2008 and Saint Joseph Husband of Mary since 2007. Although I love both equally, they each have pros and cons. I am loving Saint Anthony of Padua since they offer an early mass at 6:30 am on Sunday which is a rare find! They have 4pm mass on Saturday and starting in May, the church will offer a mass on Saturday at 6pm in Spanish. How awesome is that! There is ample parking and without the heavy traffic getting in and out of the lot. They offer confessions 30 minutes prior to each mass, but inquire for any changes. We sure need this since we do live in "sin city"! Hahaha! The church is constructed well with large open space, high ceiling, and lots of natural lighting inside. The seats are not the traditional church pews which I prefer. Basic comfort for an hour mass is A-OKAY. The church lacks the so called "crying room" where parish members with small children may have that option. This church has a lot more reasons to grow, now that the church is in full visibility. I sure hope that the communities around the area continue to support Saint Anthony of Padua, so it can continue to serve the community back for its good deeds!
