  • I boarded my westie with Doggie District was 100% satisfied. We recently just got a puppy and had to leave town our main concern was to make sure our new puppy was taken care of. I was expecting e-mail updates and photos as I did the last time i boarded my dog. I received none at all. I called and requested them to groom my dog while i was gone-- that wasn't done. When we came to pick our dogs up- our puppy looked disgusting; he smelled like urine. I brought 2 bully sticks to keep them company-they only returned 1. (my dogs can't finish a whole bully stick within a week!-so there was no way they finished it) I was missing my dog's blanket so the Manager went back to get it, came back with some other dogs blanket! If my dogs were in the kennel where they were supposed to be-the blanket should have been easy to find, she said they wash the blankets but funny; my dogs blanket was covered with other dogs hair- I was given many pathetic excuses. and really- all of them were unacceptable. Being the Manager and she admitted to not having some answers to my questions is extremely frustrating. I chose to board my dogs here because it is kennel free i trusted that they would take care of my dog. but having my puppy dirty and covered in urine & the careless attitude from the MANAGER- I definitely will not be going back and will now tell my friends not to take their pets to doggie district when i once raved about their business.
