  • With its creaky wood floor and old world feel, this butcher shop is a great option for meat loving west-enders. The selection is fresh, affordable and varied, offering local choices as well as a vast selection of global delights (organic salmon from Ireland?!). Plus the brown paper packages (all tied up with string) come with the added help of friendly and knowledgeable staff whose advice goes far beyond recommended cooking temperature. Even paying at this place is whimsical-- the register and cashier are inside an old style movie ticket booth-- taking you back to a time before meat was offered on Styrofoam trays.
