The service I received here was extremely poor for pancreatitis. I came in with enzymes elevated at about 10 times the normal upper limit. It took 2 to 3 hours for nurses to come to my room after pushing the button. I was told they needed rooms for people coming in for surgery. The staff was very disorganized and I could here a group of nurses laughing outside my room during my 2-3 hour waits. Was sent home on Wednesday.
After still dealing with issues and feeling like hell I went back to the ER where the DR( Dr Mead) told me that 10 times the normal limit wasn't a reason to be hospitalized. Then he went on to explain there were no issues here. I said why do I feel like such shit then. Literally read to pass out. He got rather abrasive with me. While waiting for my wife to come pick me up I overhear a male nurse say to someone "where I'm from in West Virginia we get to call em faggots"
Absolutely disgraceful experience all the way through. I'd never go back or encourage a friend or acquaintance to.
