Scheduled 10 days ago to be at my house between 7 and 8 this morning. Thanked me for being reasonable about scheduling AFTER the new year..
Didn't call til nearly 7:30 this morning to say "... 12 people called out sick ... you'll need to be rescheduled ... we only have 3 plumbers today ... ".
If 12 of your 15 plumbers care so little about your company and customers that they don't even worry about losing their jobs for calling out sick the day after New Year's ... WOW do you have problems!
And I'm not so sure I "need" to be rescheduled ... the company has given me no reason to want to work with them in future. They've proven unreliable, and were largely unapologetic until it became clear I wouldn't just roll over.
Things happen ... how you handle them makes a difference. This was an embarassing clusterfoodle for a company with such a previously good reputation.
