  • Moving into this apartment was a HUGE mistake. They honestly don't care about their residents and more about attracting new clients and getting more $$$ into their pockets. While signing papers they said that renovations will be made to the unit I was moving into. New carpet, kitchen cabinets, etc. The day BEFORE moving in they had to change my apartment for a different one due to renovations still being made. They asked if I can wait til next week to move. What the f**k?! You gotta be sh*tting me. You're asking me to pull money out of my pocket to find a hotel because of your poor time management? So I told them I'll take the other unit. Upon moving into the new unit NO renovations have been done like they said they were. There were baby cockroaches to adult hanging in the kitchen, bathroom, and closets. GREAT eggs have been hatched! I asked them to spray behind the stove and fridge and to seal the walls. They told me they couldn't do that. Uh,why? This is YOUR problem NOT mine. I didn't sign up to live with roaches. So I paid money out of MY pocket to hire an Orkin Man come and spray my home. Bathtub was another story. Cracks and holes all over. Baby roaches chilling inside of it. I spoked to them 3x about resurfacing they did NOT come by once. I sent pictures they promised to be there but did NOT. There's also a weird smell in the hallways and inside my unit. One day when my gf and I were coming home the smell literally blew us away! She called 911 because we thought it was a gas leak. Fire department arrived and they said it was not a gas leak and the smell could be because the buildings are so old. GREAT. There's also a new girl working name Lizette who doesn't know sh*t about the complex. It took her 25 mins to find my new unit. Idiot. Assistant Manager Maria is OK. She seems nice but she's the one continuing to make promises to me. Personally I'm just money to her. This was my first time moving out on MY own. Sure rent is cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. I didn't think it would be THIS bad. The outside of the apt looks decent but looks can be deceiving. I will definitely be moving out once my lease is over possibly breaking it THAT'S how bad it is. Screw you Villas at Desert Pointe I will NEVER refer anyone to this apartment. You guys are a joke.
