  • This place is doing my wedding cake and they did not make it easy...because every sponge and every filling is soo good we couldn't decide what combinations we wanted! In fact, we still haven't decided as I sit here surrounded by frostings and fillings with cake crumbs all over. Today I got the sample pack which includes 8 (perfectly moist) sponges and a range of frostings and fillings. If I had to pick just one it would be the salted caramel on white sponge. But seriously you can't go wrong with any of the flavors and combinations. Other favorites included the lemon and red velvet sponges and the bavarian creme, raspberry and ganache fillings. YUM. They were very good at explaining all the options and what they're able to do. They are also really friendly and as soon as I mentioned I was here to pick up the tasting packet tye knew my name, wedding date and what we were after in terms of decoration. We were referred to this place by my soon-to-be Aunt in law who has lived in the area all of her life and insists this is the best bakery in the city. While I have nothing to compare it to locally it's certainly one of the best I've ever been to and I don't doubt it's the best in the area.
