I went in because I needed to get a new bank account or at least hold the account after my wallet was stolen. He asked me for an ID, obviously he didn't understand me when I told him my wallet was stolen. I asked him if we could go through the security questions that I set up with the account and he said not until I get my ID. How do expect me to replace my ID if I can't pay for it without access to my accounts? I don't know his name. He was a bigger older man. In the cubicle to the left when you walk in the door. I've been with Chase a long time and I've never experienced such rude and unhelpful customer service. I don't know if he was having a bad day, but there was no reason to be rude to me and treat me like I was stupid. And in case you still didn't understand, my wallet was stolen. I'm having a worst day and still had the decency to treat you with respect. He was rude from the minute I walked in the door. I might consider switching banks after that awful encounter.
