| - After looking at the reviews & seeing this place every time we stay in the hotel, me & my bf decided to check this place out. We just left this place a few minutes ago, and I gotta say its was an unfortunate experience.
Clearly they didn't want to make money & truly didn't seem to care about customer service. The first guy we asked (tall guy w/glasses) didn't get his name... we asked him how much 2 medusa's would be on the arm, and let him know the size we wanted them. He made it a point to say that making them smaller would take away the detail and make it simpler (our choice), we appreciate the suggestion, but the thing is to us it sounded like an excuse not to do it; and then indicated they're (the artists) are independent contractors and therefore he can't do it (we must ask the artist who drew the tatoo). We waited as the other guy with a piercing on his face (sorry didn't get his name), finished with a client...since the other guy indicated we should wait to ask him for more information.
Mind you, about 30 minutes pass, and the tall guy tells him "can you help them, this guy has a few questions"... instead of providing customer service, he doesn't acknowledge us and instead directs the conversation towards the taller guy that: "he has a client right now...and 2 others waiting that have been tattooed by him b4"... these 2 other clients came in way after us. So what now? Push us to the side? Have us wait longer? Have us wait for your over night shift? Not once did this guy with the piercing ask us any questions but was quick to help the 2 females that walked in after us... and right away have them ready to he tattooed as soon as he was available. Where's the customer service? Where's the acknowledgement?
It was clear to us, when the taller guy with glasses said to him that: "I can't stay long tonight I gotta go", that they didn't want to help us. My bf was going to get 2 medusa's done, and I was gonna get my 1st tattoo. I was excited about it, but quickly became discouraged. First experience here, and not a pleasant one. Good customer service, and acknowledging your customers goes a long way. It's unfortunate, really, that they let us walk out the door when we were ready to have our tattoos done here.
