  • Cathy's Creamery has been on my Cleveland bucket list since it opened, and now I get to cross it off! Walked up from the Flats for dessert on a Wednesday evening. My friend and I first checked out the cookies, and noticed they looked a little dry. Plus I was bummed to see that they had already sold out of their "MNM" cookies (I always love a business that is aware of copyright infringement). We asked the woman behind the counter if the cookies might be a bit dry, and she assured us that it was against their policy to serve dry cookies. We took her word, and my friend had a cookies n' cream sandwich with chocolate chip cookies, while I had a vanilla sandwich with sugar cookies and fruity pebbles. THE COOKIES WERE PERFECTLY SOFT; SHE DID NOT LIE. We both devoured our sandwiches, and were very satisfied with our choices. The last two bites of my cookie (the ice cream was long gone by then) tasted a bit weird, kind of burnt. Besides that bittersweet ending, I'm a fan. Will be back to try another combination, hopefully this time with MNMs!
