Lowes... it started out as a good relationship until I ordered a shower door and paid for install -then everything took a hard turn off a tall cliff.
Even after someone came out and measured the shower (60.5"), what was ultimately delivered was a 48" shower door. I was told by install sales that someone would call me that day to get it straightened out... lie. I had to call EVERY DAY for 3 days before I was told that the one we originally ordered was not available in the size we wanted.. WTF? You couldn't have told me that up front beforehand? Needless to say, I cancelled my order.
In the meantime while we were waiting for the shower door, we ordered closet doors from the same Lowe's and like with the shower, they sent someone to measure. We paid for doors and install.. when the installer showed this past Monday to install, guess what?? They were short by a foot! The installer showed me the measurements he was given, and they were spot on.
So someone at Lowes obviously does not know how to enter the correct measures into the system. I spoke to Ray (manager) and Jessica (install sales) and even though they were apologetic, it felt a lot like lip service more than customer service.
I cancelled both orders, and told them I would never step foot in another Lowes, and post my experience to social media. They didn't even offer a good explanation why it happened, or try to make it right.
