  • On my way back home from NDG recently, I decided to stop off at this McDonald's to grab a drink on a hot Summer Day. During the Summer, McDonald's has a Summer Drink Event price where soft drinks are $1.00+tax (or $1.15). Over 20 years ago, I used to go to this McDonald's once a week in the evenings with my best friend after work (~10:15pm) since we both worked at the same place (in the NDG area) and we finished at the same time. Back then, McDonald's use to have pizza. I really miss having their pizzas but that's another story. This McDonald's has a decent sized parking lot and it offers drive-thru service. This McDonald's also has one of the touch ordering terminals and you can also order one of the "gourmet" (custom made) burgers. All I wanted was a drink and at this McDonald's, they had a self-serve soft drink dispenser. There was no line-up at the time that I went (~5:30pm on a Saturday). I was going to use the touch ordering terminal for my drink but realized that I forgot my credit card in the car and rather than head back to my car, since I had change in my pocket, I went to the cash to order my drink. Unlike what happened to me at the McDonald's across from the Cote Vertu metro station, this time after I paid for my drink, I was immediately given my empty cup without having to wait for the number on my receipt to show up on the monitor screen on top of the cash register counter. The area near the soft drink dispenser machine was relatively well kept/clean. There was some ketchup on the table underneath the ketchup dispenser. During the ~40 minutes that I was there, the staff did come out and wipe down a few tables. The manager (or one of the managers) occasionally came out and helped some of the patrons with the touch ordering terminals. The street to get to/from this McDonald's parking can be a bit tricky as Blvd de St Anne de Bellevue starts off and becomes rue St-Jacques and rue St-Jacques forks out at the start (or end depending on your viewpoint) of Blvd de St Anne de Bellevue making this McDonald's between Blvd de St Anne de Bellevue & rue St-Jacques and is located right next door to a Petro Canada gas station. As McDonald's go, I give this McDonald's a rating of 3.5 stars which I've rounded up to 4 stars.
