There is only one place in AZ where i'm a regular dim-sum-er and that's Great Wal! Also- fun fact! 85% of Vietnamese weddings happen there (The other 15% didn't happen there because there was a wedding that is booked at Great Wall that day). So Great Wall is not only a Chinese restaurant but also an important part of the wedding culture in AZ. Go Great Wall!! Who knows...if I ever get married- it might just probably be at Great Wall. Come to think of it, three of my older siblings' wedding was where? GREAT WALL!!!!!!
I am getting a bit sentimental with this review. So lets get to the food.
Shumai= BOMB!!! I can eat this all day and all night. I just love Great Wall's dim sum. The only place that beat out their dim sum is a place in San Francisco- that tells you how great Great Wall is.
They recently remodeled their bathroom - thank Confucius! It is now nice and clean. Hopefully stay nice and clean.
The only staff I love there is Jimmy, this tall man who speak both Chinese and Vietnamese. He crack me up everytime! I don't know him personally but coming to this restaurant so much, he's like a Chinese brotha I never have. The service there is mediocre- if you need something, call them out and you get what you want. Not bad though- maybe I'm used to it.
Sunday dimsum line is looooooooooong, so come early to get your number.
I really don't have much complaints about this place except the occasionally long wait if I decide to grab dim sum on Sunday.
It is always a pleasure coming to this place. Good food at inexpensive price.
